WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT’S A SUNDAY MORNING EXPERIENCE LIKE AT LIFE CHURCH?

Welcome to Life Church! We’re a church on mission, sent by God to our friends, family, and neighbors to show the love of Jesus and tell the story of Jesus. The last command Jesus left us with is to “go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything [He] commanded.” Because of this, Life Church leads with our mission of showing and telling the story of Jesus.This is a Spirit-motivated, Spirit-led, and Spirit-driven mission.

Life Church now meets for Worship at 10100 Bluegrass Parkway at 10:30 AM in J’ town. We gather as a community to celebrate God’s grace, sing songs, pray, encounter God in his Word and then scatter into the metro area to show and tell the story of Jesus.

As you drive into the parking lot you’ll see signs that tell you where to park. Once inside, you can register your children at the Life Kid’s Check In table. At Life Church, children worship with their parents and are released into Life Kid’s (The “Littles” & The “Big’s”) to sing, laugh, listen, talk, create, pray and learn about the love of Jesus.

We’re all about making much of Jesus at Life Church. During our Worship Gathering, you’ll have a chance to connect with others and hear God’s Word taught in a way that is practical and relevant–-we believe that God’s Word changes people.

IS CHURCH PLANTING FOR ME?

People and families that roll up their sleeves to plant a church describe it as one of the best experiences they’ve ever had in church. God tends to do the following through a new church plant:

• He fans into the flame our passion for telling people about Jesus and making disciples;
• He revives and renews our desires for His Kingdom; and
• He provides opportunities to grow in our faith and put our spiritual gifts into practice.

There’s simply nothing like church planting to revive our hearts for God’s Kingdom and reach people who’ve given up on church, but not God with the gospel of King Jesus. That said, church planting is a work for builders. We’re looking for flexible people that want to help us build a culture, launch ministries and ultimately make spiritual-influencers who will help others awaken to the life changing power of Jesus.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

That’s totally up to you! We have people every week who wear anything from shorts and t-shirts to jeans and nice shirts to dresses and more business casual attire. Our goal is for you to feel welcomed and be comfortable, so whatever that looks like to you is great with us!

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY KIDS?

Kids have a very important place here at Life church. After worshiping with their parents, kids are released into our Life Kids classes for age-appropriate Bible teaching. Our kids enjoy a fun Bible lesson, play games, sing songs and enjoy a pre-packaged snack.

All of our activities are designed to build relationships between the kids and our trained volunteer staff—ultimately we want to build our relationship with God through King Jesus.

WHAT GOES ON DURING THE WEEK?

Weekends at Life Church are great, but we have lots of things that go on during the week! For adults, we have Life Groups that meet in homes throughout the Metro Louisville area. You can find out more by liking our Facebook page or finding us on Instagram.
